Pay Highlights:

Negotiable Pricing

Daily OT after 24 hours

Weekly OT after 40 hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.
• Perform detailed head-to-toe physical assessments and document findings accurately.
• Complete admission databases, routine assessments, and discharge/transfer planning per hospital policies.
• Initiate, review, and update patient care plans, ensuring comprehensive and individualized care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered care and communicate any unmet needs or adverse treatment effects to physicians.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation while adhering to JCAHO and patient safety standards.
• Respond promptly, calmly, and safely to emergency situations.
• Participate in hospital committees, professional organizations, and network/community programs.
• Act as a preceptor or charge nurse as needed, providing guidance and mentorship to new nurses.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education beyond mandatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong customer service, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.

Professional understanding of nursing theory and practice equivalent to at least two years of nursing education from an accredited School of Nursing.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Education & Certification:

Required: BSN or an Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
